If, like me, the constant plane noise in East Dulwich affects you negatively, please respond to the consultation about the 3rd runway and airspace policy - links below. Deadline is 25 May.

In the 15 years I have lived in East Dulwich, the plane noise has gone from minimal to loud and constant, as planes fly lower and in tighter flight path routes. This means that East Dulwich is constantly flown over - when the winds are westerly, we get the Heathrow planes and, when the wind is easterly, we get the City Airport planes (which are set to increase following Sadiq Khan giving permission to City airport to expand significantly).

If the flight noise doesn't bother you, please don't respond to this thread - just be grateful they don't affect your health/ wellbeing 😀

For more information about which flights are overflying us, see www.flightradar24.com

For more information about the consultation, see Hacan's website: www.hacan.org.uk

Consultation document can be found at either of the links below:

Thanks in advance

Thanks for this - deadline is 25th May.

Whilst I think most people would have enough information to respond, bear in mind that the DfT can't provide all the info. From the website:

"We are currently unable to publish this information due to restrictions in place during the pre-election period"

    • Having work done , lots of bags of bricks to dispose of . I could make several trips on my car or get permit and go with builder in his van.  Is this allowed ? It won't be me, the. Southwark resident, driving . How much does a permit cost? Apologies Admin if United should be in the lounge.
    • Contact the seller to resend, that’s what I did and I got it delivered to my home instead. Never did find out what happened to the other parcel they refused.
    • Hello.  A parcel for someone at 64B Blenheim Grove has been dumped at my address.  If anyone from 64B is in this forum, please get in touch!
    • CPR Dave is anti-dogs. Each to their own  I think my dog has perhaps grown a bit less nervy about the fireworks in the last few weeks, interestingly. Our last dog had no problems with them until he reached old age, when he became petrified.  CPR Dave - it's not just sounds of the metropolis they hate, mine collapses in fear when he hears thunder too
