Recommendation for Rough Edges ladies fashion

Recommended Posts

I meant to post this recommendation months ago - where does the time go!

Two local ladies are behind Rough Edges and they make brilliant oversized, quirky, lagenlook, clothes that I am so happy I discovered.

I was lucky enough to be given a few pieces as a Christmas present and to be honest I would never have gone for the styles myself but it was amazing - everything is so comfortable yet looks really good. Ive had so many compliments from people asking me where I got things from. Ive since bought tops, jackets, waistcoat, hoodies - you name it and truly the same goes for every piece. Im tall 5ft9 and it all fits beautifully and my friend is a tiny 5ft2 and the same stuff looks fantastic on her too.

Anyway they are now into their summer line - linens and cottons - and they will be at Herne Hill Market this Sunday - 14th May.

They will have some sale pieces too.

Ladies go and check them out and dont assume this style wont suit you until you try.

    • People who did an L-shaped loft conversion in a mid terrace Victorian, did you put the bathroom in the middle of the landing or an en-suite off the master? And whichever you chose, are you glad you did it that way? We're struggling to decide layout. We want to maximise light and 'niceness' of rooms rather than boxy and dark. Any reflections are most welcome.

    • This thread brings back hazy memories from the early to mid-90s of a wine shop / off licence off Lordship Lane run by a bibulous chap who specialised in East European wines. It wasn't on a parade of shops but was on maybe Whateley Rd – or possibly Goodrich?? I used to walk past it when heading home from work and would drop in for a cheap bottle of Hungarian plonk. Someone tell me I'm not dreaming this... 🙂
