Moving overseas sales - Warren Evans double bed & mattress ?50! Must go this weekend

Only selling as moving overseas, all in v good condition, more will be added, needs to be picked up by 20 May. Pick up Sydenham Hill, SE26.


1. Warren Evans double bed, somerset grey base & Divan high sloped headboard & Bensons for beds backcare ultima mattres - both bought November 2014, excellent condition, well looked after - ?175


2. Ikea tall lamp, beige lampshade - ?5 - sold


We live on the 3rd floor but can help with lifting if you come on an evening or weekend.

3. Ikea Sofabed for sale - 1 year old: Corner sofa-bed with storage FRIHETEN Skiftebo dark grey ?150

In good condition with a few minor marks hence low price, can send photos. It does dismantle into a few pieces.- Sold


4. Ikea kallax/expedit units - two of these available - 8 shelf = ?15 / 4 shelf = ?8 . Have some of the boxes to give away too. Similar to photo attached. - Sold

    • But all those examples sell a wide variety of things,  and mostly they are well spread out along Lordship Lane. These two shops both sell one very specific thing, albeit in different flavours, and are just across the road from each other. I don't think you can compare the distribution of shops in Roman times to the distribution of shops in Lordship Lane in the twenty first century. Well, you can, but it doesn't feel very appropriate. Haa anybody asked the first shop how they feel? Are they happy about the "healthy competition" ?

    • Ha! After I posted this, I thought of lots more examples. Screwfix and the hardware store? Mrs Robinson and Jumping Bean? Chemists, plant shops, hairdressers...  the list goes on... it's good to have healthy competition  Ooooh! Two cheese shops
    • You've got a point.  Thinking Leyland and Screwfix too but this felt different.
