Men's Road Bike - Carrera Virtuoso, Medium frame

Recommended Posts

Men's Carrera Virtuoso road bike for sale. Ideal for commuting or as an introduction to road cycling. Frame size is indicated as Medium (51cm) so would suit somebody between 5'3" and 5'9" (according to their website).

I have fitted a pair of brand new Hutchinson tyres as well as a brand new set of Look compatible clipless pedals. The chain was also replaced recently.

Condition is very good for its age: there are a couple of minor chips to the paintwork and some scuffs to the handlebar hoods. Shifting works pretty well, although it could probably benefit from a tune-up. The bar tape could also do with being replaced soon.

I am also throwing in:

The original flat pedals

A set of Crud Roadracer mk2 mudguards (I couldn't manage to fit the front guard, but somebody more capable may be able to!)

Two sets of spare brake pads

A bell

A set of lights (although they don't look to be that good, in all honesty)

A review with more detailed spec: http://www.bikeradar.com/road/gear/category/bikes/mountain-bikes/product/review-carrera-virtuoso-09-34691/

?120, collection near Goose Green.

Thanks,

Joe

    • Loki hasn’t been seen since Sunday. He’s all grey but if you look closely he has faint stripes on the top of his tail. No pedigree, just very much loved. About 4 years old. No collar, but chipped.  please keep an eye out for him. We live on Barry Road SE22
    • I went in here the other day. The fruit is all really good - ripe and fresh. They also sell good bread (and croissants and pastries) from a independent bakery, the name of which I've forgotten. 🤦 The prices (which are marked) are not cheap but they are fair imo. Comparable to the specialist fruit shop on Lordship Lane (Brothers?) for really good quality. It's similar prices to Simply Fresh - but Simply Fresh's fruit and veg is very poor. Beaten about and tasteless. Sainsbury's is certainly cheaper. IMVHO they're a good addition to the Dulwich Village "retail offer".
    • Went actually for the first time yesterday. Terrific food, so was well pleased. Agree with previous poster to support.
    • Hi!! Moving house soon so looking for some cardboard boxes. Anyone know of any shops or cafes that may be giving some away?
