Just in case... to say thanks to the lady who helped bundle me into a helpful van who stopped to help me get a lost fox cub to the helpful Neighbourhood vets on Thursday. Little 'Barry' as he's now called has caused a stir online and is with the national fox welfare society and looking good! I know not all of you will be fox fans out there but he is a cutie! Thanks to the vets for helping me. M
Hi Maria, brilliant to hear this happy ending! I was the lady with my 4 year old in tow trying to field the cub away from the road - foxes not everyone's favourite animal but I couldn't stand by without trying to stop him from being run over. Thanks to another lady in a white car who also pulled over to help. You & the van drivers did a brilliant job of scooping him up & taking him to safety (& online fame!)

Get a life and spare us your boring politicalisation of every topic you respond to.

It's so repetitive, infantile and boring.

So you don't care about the Tory intention to bring back fox hunting, Green Goose?

Well, others do, and it was a relevant comment.

If all you've got to do is gratuitously insult others on here, don't you think it's you who needs to get a life?

Fox hunting is pretty repetitive, infantile, & boring also - except, of course for blood-thirsty hooray henrys who have bugger all else to do.

    • @NewWave I know how you feel. Like you, I've lived and spent prolonged periods of time in some pretty crazy places and always thought I could handle a bunch of kids. But, no - they got to me and I was shaking like a leaf afterwards. That's what age does to us.  But I did engage with them, so bear that in mind.  My advice would be to never let anything like that stop you doing the things you love. I'm certainly not going to stop using the park, there's no way they get to take away our cherished spaces!  If you see them, just change tack and keep out of their way. My dog won't even go that way again, so that's that problem solved. (If I see them again, I'm going to keep taking photos from a safe distance).
    • Truly horrific. Being passive or fighting back is what many of us think about by violent theft.
    • What ridiculous waste of money
    • Lots of good primary schools within reach of there. Fairlawn, Goodrich, Ivydale and Horiman. Secondary schools you will definitely get into the Harris Academies or Sydenham Girls or Forest Hill Boys, you might just be on the boundary for the East Dulwich or North Dulwich Charter but it changes every year.
