Barry the fox found near Piedmont Green

Just in case... to say thanks to the lady who helped bundle me into a helpful van who stopped to help me get a lost fox cub to the helpful Neighbourhood vets on Thursday. Little 'Barry' as he's now called has caused a stir online and is with the national fox welfare society and looking good! I know not all of you will be fox fans out there but he is a cutie! Thanks to the vets for helping me. M

Thats wonderful !! He's lovely. So glad he's been saved, (as I couldn't save the one being attacked by dogs near benchley gardens, they attacked me too). Hope he gets a nicer place to live.

Hi Maria, brilliant to hear this happy ending! I was the lady with my 4 year old in tow trying to field the cub away from the road - foxes not everyone's favourite animal but I couldn't stand by without trying to stop him from being run over. Thanks to another lady in a white car who also pulled over to help. You & the van drivers did a brilliant job of scooping him up & taking him to safety (& online fame!)
