Wordprocess help needed

Hi does anyone know how to use wordprocess?

I had my website designed last year and have recently done some changes by adding a few new pages, however for some reason they are not going live, even though it says they're published.

Do you mean WordPress?


If so, have you tried refreshing the website pages on your browser? (Press F5. Unless you use a Mac, in which case I have no idea. Though actually if you can't see the pages at all this probably won't work :( )


Changes made don't always appear at once.


Alternatively turn your PC on and off and open the website again?


Or, are you sure the new pages are properly linked to an existing part of your website that they can be reached from?


If they are just floating about in the ether I guess you wouldn't be able to see them .....


It's a lot easier to add posts to a Wordpress site than to add pages, because adding pages is altering the structure.


Try googling to make doubly sure you have done it correctly? I'd have thought you would have to go into the html to do it, but I may be wrong.

What Sue says seems most likely to me but it really depends how your website was built, the theme it is based on and which version of the Wordpress Content Management System you are using. If you have made new posts or pages and have published them correctly they should be available to select and add to your 'Menu bar'.


I would strongly suggest you have a back up made before attempting to change your website structure.


Try going to 'Appearance > Menus > Edit menus' then something like 'Primary (Header Menu)'. This should control the tabs you see at the top of your website homepage (but, again, that does depend on how the website was built and the WordPress theme you're using). You should see one column saying 'Pages, Posts, Projects, Custom links, Categories etc. and one showing your Menu structure. Check items in the first column and they should appear in the Menu structure, you can then move the order of them around.

      It's such an uneven provision, I live just west of E Dulwich towards Herne Hill/Dulwich Village and there are four Post Office counters within 10 mins walk max. They are all in local shops and provide a great service.

David O'Brien and DRJ Builders are more than that - they are an absolutely brilliant building firm who we can highly recommend. We used them to do a side return extension, loft extension and full house renovation in 2016. They did such a great job, we have just used them again to add on a new rear extension to the ground floor in 2025.       They do have other lockers where you can drop off parcels, as well as some shops who will take them. If you use the Royal Mail app, or website, you can also arrange for collection of parcels from your house. The service is actually pretty good (and a lot easier than going to the post office). There are a lack of Royal Mail lockers though. Would be good to get some more - perhaps one on North Cross road? They don't need to be outside the Post Office necessarilly.

      In a similar  vein, are there any charity shops actually taking donations at the moment? ( after the usual post  Christmas chucking out phase, noone would take my things last week, they had too much already).
