spadetowngirl has a birthday coming up soon and is doing my head in to buy her a kettlebell or bells but they,re not the cheapest piece of equipment to buy for what will more than likely end up under the stairs after a few months. i have checked out a few sites for reports on their effectiveness,but has anyone on the site a)heard of them and b)if so used them, because until the missus approached me about them i was pretty much in the dark.

I have Captains of Crush grippers and they are good.

Kettlebells are old school weight training but will improve grip strength as well as arm/shoulder. By giving big lifts your trunk strength or related strength will increase too. They have been popularised by that Russian as that is all he had then.

If you live in an upstairs flat you will not be popular below.

      At the Dulwich Hill SNT meeting last night we spoke about Met. Engage. Dulwich Hill had signed up 185 households. Scheme  had been trialled in other parts of the country successfully and now the Met. Police are rolling it out, To the end of August, the Met Police had gathered 17,000 registrations which equites to 2% of households.

      When you dig into the site, there's an ancillary domain also involved in the system: neighbourhoodalert.co.uk;  and one pointed to by the latter as an example, stayintheknow.co.uk, which seems to have been set up by Lancashire.  All three long validated by Nominet and with same registrar.    metengage_etc_whois.txt
