Help - before Christmas I saw a reference someone made to my friend's blog about parenting. I told her about it (she lives in Costa Rica and was very excited) and promised I would send her a link to the thread. I've tried searching for it but to no avail. I know I've referenced it myself a while ago; weird it doesn't come up.

I'm sure it was made in ref to something about sterilizing bottles. I thought the forumite who made the reference was Saila or Saffron, or another 'S' but I can't find it. Can anyone help? This is the blog:

And this isn't a shameless plug for her blog.

Thanks

It was this one:

And the forumite was Alicinha...

Thanks, I really enjoyed the mental challenge of picturing the other threads from memory and then remembering what the subject matter was (yup, geek).

I'll check out her blog too :)

    • Seems to be back on now although pressure reduced especially for hot water via boiler. Hopefully I can have a shower in the morning.
    • It’s far too hot. Dogs should not be out and you’re right to post this.
    • Agree that you have to be so careful dogs in this heat… but please dont judge so quickly.  Its one thing if you see a dog at midday being thrown the ball endlessly, but if you see a dog en route / somewhere - You dont know if that dog was being walked to the vet for an emergency appointment.. or taken to a friend’s house that is cooler etc.  And if they live in a flat, they might desperately need to be taken out for a quick pee / poo !
    • I know,  absolutely crazy.  A dog has never died because it didn't have a walk, but dogs do die if walked in this heat. Perhaps the owners should put on a thick fur coat, take their shoes off and jog round the pavements, and see how that feels! 🤬
