Kids Half-Term Sewing Workshop @ PunkMeUpCafe Wed May 31st 2-4pm, ages 7+

This 2-hour workshop is all about learning sewing machine basics in a small-group environment. We'll cover how to thread a machine, master our straight lines and go on to make a simple zipper bag that can be used to stash all sorts of things from sleepover stuff to pencils and more.

Everyone will get some 1-on-1 time to use the machine. It's recommended that kids have some hand-sewing experience before this workshop. If they know how to sew a running stitch and thread a needle, they'll be just fine!

Any spare time at the end will be used to make some fabulous pom-pom zipper pulls!

  I hadn't looked at the actual posts on Instagram. That's sad, then. The shop opening hours are still shown at the top of the page. I guess changing them wasn't uppermost in her mind under the circumstances.

  I want to recommend the kitchen fitters Top Marx kitchens. They were excellent from the communication, the planning and the fitting. John did a fantastic job of of fitting and worked around and solved many of the issues we had with Ikea who we purchased from. John gave lots of helpful advice and support. We would definitely use them again for any kitchen work. I have added before and after photos.
