ED Granny groups / Granny NCT

Hi all - my mum is very kindly going to be doing 2 days a week childcare for my 9 month old when my maternity leave finishes in August. She said to me 'I wish there was NCT for grandmas!' Is there anyone else who's mum, or dad, will be doing even ad hoc childcare? My mum is obviously perfectly capable of making her own friends but I thought I'd see whether there were any pre-existing groups in place?

This is a FAB idea!! I've never heard of it but do hope you find that NCT for grandmas or something along those lines exists!

Another idea for your mum, we have lots of grandmas and grandpas who regularly attend my drop in baby music sessions. If you think your mum might be interested, please do PM me and I can let you know which sessions are guaranteed to have other grand grown ups there ;) !
