Has anybody used / seen the Vibe being used with the Maxi Cosi attachment? Does it still seat a toddler in addition to the baby?

I assumed it didn't so discounted it (presumably heavier child would have to go in back seat which your not supposed to do) thought it worth checking though :-)

Thanks

I seem to recall on the dash that you don't have to put the main seat back/flat for the maxi cosi because it sits above the frame a bit. If same goes for the vibe, technically you could fit the doubles seat on the back. But like you said, I'm sure there's 'rules' and issues of balance. If you were in a pinch however...
Having had a chat to the lady in mothercare it would seem the maxi cosi only fits on the new Vibe frame (not our 2009 one). It would also seem if you use the maxi cosi you can't use the doubles kit underneath due to uneven weight distribution. So all in all it's great if you've just got the baby with you but if you're with the toddler and baby the cocoon and doubles kit seems the way to go.

Thanks so much for that Princess. I though that was the case from what I could find online, wasn't at all obvious though so I wasn't sure.

I do have the 2010 frame but sounds a bit pointless if it then only seats one child, I will only have a 15 onth age gap so my eldest will more than likely be with us - no nursery etc.

Did you happen to notice how big (and expensive) the adapter was whilst at Mothercare? I seem to remember it being around the ?25 mark and quite large in which case it doesn't sound like the most practical buy...... bubba will just have to wake up when he gets in and out the car ;-)

    • I’d like to recommend local plumber - James at Trelco Plumbing. I’ve used them twice now, for a kitchen tap replacement and a boiler repair. Both times they were able to attend at short notice, arrived on time and we are very happy with the work they have done. James is polite, responsive and easy to deal with. Having 3 boys at Charter i would seriously consider a boys school if you have them, Charter East really aren't geared up for the different educational needs of some boys and the challenging behaviour this frustration leads to. I have heard amazing things about St Thomas the Apostle boys school.
    • Thanks everyone for the great recommendations! I wouldn't normally go for vegan restaurants, but I've been to En Root and really liked it. Fresh and tasty.  The Ritzy Cinema in Brixton also sell their food, to eat in their cafe before or after a film (I don't think they sell the whole menu that you'd find in Peckham, but there is a good choice)
