Friendly English teacher (TEFL qualified) available

Recommended Posts

I am an experienced English teacher (TEFL qualified), born and raised in London.

I am a friendly, diligent and patient teacher, with 2 and a half years of experience in Spain and London.

I have taught both adults and young learners at a range of levels, from beginner (A1) to advanced (C1).

Whether you want to practice speaking and improve your conversational fluency, focus on grammar, or need assistance preparing for an exam such as IELTS, I can help!

I offer dynamic, communicative classes in a relaxed learning environment.

Classes can take place either at my home or yours, or in a cafe. Some students may even prefer to have more active classes, with excursions to museums, galleries and markets. Moreover, I am a keen cook and can implement this into lessons, should you share a passion for food. The decision is yours!

I speak basic Spanish and have worked with people of various nationalities, including Spanish, Portuguese, French, Angolan, Ukrainian, Vietnamese and Chinese, to name but a few.

My interests include film, comedy, food, music, reading and current affairs.

I look forward to hearing from you :)

    • Hi  I really thought I'd seen a more recent post on the forum about home education meet ups. I can't find it though. • Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
    • Was anyone else disturbed last night/early hours this morning by the party going on in someone’s garden on Crystal Palace road. Can’t see what house exactly but it’s around number 43 - 41… it was happening quite frequently last year. Seems it’s starting again! Very inconsiderate.
