Marshall JCM 900 combo guitar amplifier ?500/ono

Recommended Posts

Marshall JCM 900 100w Hi Gain Dual Reverb.

I've owned this amp for about ten years and have only gigged with it on a handful of occasions. Absolutely monstrous volume for a combo, and doesn't get the chance to be cranked up as much as it deserves these days. Perfect for a tube driven sound with channel A, and can get extra gainy in channel B.

Low and high power levels so you can have it running more quietly for practice / rehearsal. Built in effects loop if you want to run your delays/reverbs separately. It's just been serviced so is running smoothly with brand new E34L tubes. Celestion G12T-75 speakers. As mentioned, it's in excellent condition and is only missing a small handle cover as pictured. Not supplied with footswitch.

A great amp if you're looking for a tube driven sound or something a bit chunkier, just a bit too big for my needs now. Weighs a tonne(!) so you'll have to collect it from me in person. Feel free to get in touch if you need any more information or photos.

    • Hello! We are relocating abroad and so will be withdrawing our two children (ages 4 and 6) from St Dunstan’s College (Catford). If any family is considering enrolling children of a similar age, now would be an excellent opportunity—we’re required to pay full‑term fees unless the places are taken. Please get in touch if you’re interested or know someone who might be. Thank you!

    • Thanks for your reply. I’ve subscribed to Ancestry a few times in the past but felt I wasn’t using it enough to warrant keeping up the subscription.
    • Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
