Au pair needed urgently

Recommended Posts

Hello! Lovely family looking for a lovely au pair (male or female) to join us asap. Our last au pair had to rush home for a family emergency and is not able to come back unfortunately.

There's me - I run my own business from home and am a speaker and coach empowering women around confidence, emotional and physical wellbeing, life balance - and my two boys aged 7 and 10 who go to Dulwich Prep. We also have a gorgeous puppy of 6 months.

The role involves helping out 4 evenings a week Mon - thurs including school pickups 2-3 days a week - so you need to be able to drive a manual car. You'd be helping out from after school until the kids are in bed - helping with cooking the kids' tea sometimes, homework, school uniform/sports kits and generally helping keep the house tidy. We have a cleaner once a week so its only light cleaning such as helping with the kitchen after dinner etc.

Generally if I need you to babysit its Mon-Thurs, its very rare that its at the weekend because the weekends the kids are with me, I want to hang out with them. Every other weekend they are with their dad so obviously I don't need babysitting.

In school holidays you'd need to be able to do more daytime hours and fewer evening hours.

We see our au pair as very much part of the family and we all eat dinner together and take an active interest in each other's lives. All our au pairs have said how lovely we are and that they have really enjoyed being part of our family.

Get in touch!

    • As I said, it was my understanding. I worded it very carefully. I didn't/don't know for sure, so clearly not a fact. And hardly an "opinion", which is something completely different. You have no idea what reason anybody might have had for not voting for him (unless you can point to some opinion poll results which actually asked people?)
    • Also, just to add, the threat to kill someone's dog and try to kick it, is an additional extremely unpleasant layer. I have noticed a lot of the burst water balloons lying around in the park too- that is not great for the environment either.
    • I’m basing it on the fact that Jeremy Corbyn had repeatedly and on record said he is against mandatory vaccinations in any situation, and he wouldn’t disclose wether he had the Covid vaccine himself    as I said. Not as bad as his brother but very definitely a bit weird about the whole thing. Just say you had the vaccination Jeremy, say that everyone should and stop being weird in the middle of a global pandemic    it’s the same slippery evasive nonsense about Brexit and him. About Putin poisonings and him.     if you are happy with his evasiveness then you do you.  But there is a reason the country wouldn’t get behind him
