Leitz Focomat 1c 35 mm enlarger for sale with eisel, timer and spare bulbs ?150.00 plus photo paper

For sale, a beautiful Leitz Focomat 1c darkroom enlarger with accompanying Leitz easel which slots into the baseboard to give accurate sizing and location for printing or be removed if a larger easel is required.

The 1c was made between 1950-77 with the high precision engineering quality you would expect from a piece of equipment with the Leica name and is considered by many to be the best enlarger for 35mm monochrome darkroom printing.

Negative carrier inserts are guided into a V-groove made accessible after the enlarger lamp housing is tilted backwards to a locking stop, plus, the negative strip can realigned by raising the lamp/condenser housing using a lever at the right. The head raising mechanism (for focusing) is a pinch-lever operated by forefinger and thumb of the left hand? all very simple, smooth and elegant. There is also an auto focus mechanism if you decide to change the print size and this will focus the lens for you under normal use.

The light source is very even and bright coming through the condenser from a 150 watt opal bulb.(I'm including two spares here)

Also included in the package is a lovely Hauck electric enlarger timer which is easy to use and very accurate.

The lens is an original and extremely sharp Leitz Focotar f4.5 enlarger lens.

This enlarger is in excellent condition and full working order.
