United Sound of Sydenham at The Bricklayers Arms annual charity fundraiser in memory of much missed local man De De Larkin

De De was a great lover of Black American and Jamaican music and he is pictured in the poster as a young man in a 2 button suit back in the 1960?s. Demelza was De De?s charity of choice and we are raising money for them in his memory.

Its free entry and runs from 8 to 1am with voluntary donations to be made through the just giving page or on the night. With all money raised going to Demelza children's hospice. We on behalf of United Sound of Sydenham have kicked off contributions with a ?100 donation.

United Sound of Sydenham music policy is Black American and Jamaican music from 1940s to 1980s, however, in June the music will be strictly sounds from the 60s ? 60s Soul, Ska, 60?s R&B and Latin, all played on vinyl.

    • Do you mean they are chopping branches from trees in your garden? I would definitely get advice on that eg from the neighbourhood police. I'm not familiar with the law, but that sounds like trespass to me, even if they are not actually standing in your garden. People are entitled to chop off branches etc which are overhanging their own garden, but I am pretty sure they are  not allowed to lean over and chop off anything in yours, whether they dislike it or not.
    • Greg has done several jobs for me over the last year or so. He is quick, efficient, reliable and tidy. Prices are reasonable and he is very easy to deal with - really nice man!
