Wanted: Temporary use of birdcage for rescued sparrow chick

Saved a chick from the cat this morning. Carefully following wildlife rehabilitation guides and it's making a good recovery.

I need to borrow a small aviary type cage I can place outside so it can call to it's family without getting eaten by other cats or the magpies in the area.

Can anyone lend or sell me a birdcage, or is anyone an experienced wildbird rescuer that I can pass this little guy on to please?

  I used to work with various Trading Standards teams two decades ago. They were much better resourced then and you could deal directly with individuals. @Pugwash can you give a phone number, email or link to contact Southwark please.
