Hi, my offering today is a CPU + cooler, motherboard and RAM for making up an office or leisure computer, and even running some old games. The components are...

CPU: Intel Q9550 overclocked to 3.4GHz, with decent aftermarket cooler.

Mobo: ASUS P5Q Pro

RAM: 4GB DDR2, 1066MHz

Was all in working order last I tried it.

Original value back in the day was about ?3-400 altogether.

There is no Power Supply Unit, harddrive, Operating system, Graphics card, case, or monitor provided with this - but you can grab those for cheap elsewhere on ebay (roughly ?60 for the other components, and a monitor and a case could also be gotten on the cheap - or you could plug it into your TV as a media centre.) Alternatively, you could upgrade a super-old computer to slightly more modern specs, for free :).

I've had the hardware kicking about in my room for ages, just taking up space. But it could make a decent media centre or work computer or whatever, if someone is willing to throw in a few other components or has them lying around.

This is all ~2009 tech but back then, with an HD 4870X2 it was able to run Crysis easily (renowned as one of the hardest games to run for many years after it was made.)
