The Blue Cross in Hammersmith are heavily involved with animal rescue as well as treatment and boarding of pets affected by the devaststing Grenfell Tower fire.

They are looking for foster homes for dogs, cats and small animals until they are able to go back to their owners.

I remember having to deal with a woman who was deceased in her home for a while, the first thing that I looked for was a pet, just in case.

I've emailed the Hammersmith animal shelter, I'll take one in.

    • Hello everyone, We have lost our wonderful moggie, Cookie.  She's been missing for over a week now and was lost around the back of our house on rail track land around Croxted Road/Turney Road junction. Please do keep an eye out for her and if you see her please let us know urgently as she isn't familiar with the area at all, we are very worried.  She has a microchip (with my brother's contact details) She's black with ginger/brown markings, very distinctive. If you have had sightings of her or seen her at anytime please let do let me know, Henna 07941 047094 If you could post on your local/street groups too, I'd be very grateful. Thank you!
