What a disappointing wait for the Dog to open beautifully done up but food overpriced and just average bar food,Dulwich is a family area nothing for the kids,all I could see were kids throwing stones.

Might pop down today for a pint. To be fair, speaking as a father there are plenty of child friendly spaces. Pubs and kids don't always mix. The Herne used to be like the Lord of the Flies. There's still Pizza Express and that other place there so I think just a pub is fine.

I like pubs to be family friendly during the day. But that doesn't mean they have to cater specifically for kids. We don't need toys, colouring pads, or play areas. Just a clean environment, welcoming staff and preferably a kitchen that will do a small portion of something if asked.

And other customers should not be expected to put up with children having tantrums or running around!
