I am looking for a private tutor, from September/October, for my son who will be in year 3 then. The primary aim is not so much prepare for future entrance exams but more to get him into a routine as he is not very good at focusing and is starting to get behind at school. Ideally somebody who would be able to come to ours. If you are interested please PM me or pass on a recommendation, thanks.

Hi Ole,

I work as a primary SEN specialist teacher. I work 3 days per week in Dalmain Primary School in Forest Hill. I also do freelance tuition from reception age through to GCSE. I'd be happy to come and meet you and your son to see if I was the right fit for his needs. I have worked as a teacher for over 10 years now.

I have coached children for grammar and public school entrance and supported those with Dyslexia, Autism and processing issues.

Best wishes

Rachel

    • some titles are "protected" ie you have to have certain qualifications and be registered with the supervising council https://www.hcpc-uk.org/about-us/who-we-regulate/the-professions/ Dietician is registered and protected Nutricionist is neither. Anyone can claim to be a nutricionist or chiropracter etc
    • It didn't occur to me to ask. No idea if dieticians are employed within the NHS. It is just one line of enquiry among others. The GP mentioned it, not me.
    • I thought the most they sell in terms of hot food at londis is like pastries and sausage rolls and for hot drinks its like costa coffee but its always a convenience store. Doesn’t look too bad in my opinion considering that shop has been closed down ever since i moved here
    • Hi Busterb, Yesterday I turned up with a scanner & towels, hoping to take a deceased tabby down to TNV. The body was moved moments before arrival & had not been turned in to any vets, rescues or animal hospitals. I am wondering if this could have been the same cat & if someone just tried to move the tabby further away from the road. Please be warned, viewers discretion is advised. but this is what the deceased tabby looked like: https://www.facebook.com/groups/900015513463302/permalink/3729980853800073/  In any case, if you haven't been able to get someone to scan or take down to a vet, I can scan tomorrow morning.
