One Week till Goose Green Primary School Carnival

Only one week to go until Goose Green Primary School Carnival on 1st July.

Please come along for a fantastic family day out. This years entertainment kicks off at 12 with the primary school class performances ? followed by Goose Green choir at 1pm and the renowned steel bands at 2pm (including Goose Green Community band, Year five Steel Pans, & Goose Green Primary School Steel Orchestra)

There will be a wide selection of stalls selling food, drinks (including a bar), gifts and games. PLUS over ?1,000 worth of raffle prizes to be won.

Don?t miss out and see you all there ? on goose green at 12 next Saturday the 1st of July.

  Steve used to joke that my old VW Golf kept them in business. I've got a more reliable car now so maybe that's why they are closing. Sad day.

  Is Dell Autos closing down completely or just moving? For whatever it's worth, for MOTs I've had good recent experience with The Test Centre in Deptford. They only do MOTs so they don't have any particular incentive to fail you and they usually have same day appointments. Open 7 days a week and late. https://www.thetestcentre.co.uk/our-test-centres/deptford-branch/ Obviously you would still need a "normal" garage to do servicing and repairs etc.

  No. What happened? I actually thought, considering it was what we used to call Guy Fawkes Day last night, the loud noises from fireworks ended remarkably early. About 9pm? Maybe I just fell asleep and didn't hear any later ones. Do people actually burn Guys any more? Apart from at places like Lewes, where I believe they still have Bonfire Societies and burn effigies of various political figures etc.
