The French House team and I would like to say a big thank you to you all for your support to date.

We are celebrating our 3rd anniversary at the end of June in East Dulwich and closing in on 1 year in Crystal Palace.

For those who don't know us yet, The French House is a new vibrant neighbourhood eatery set up by a team that live in and love the South East London area bringing all of knowledge from our gastro backgrounds.

Offering a fun and relaxed environment you can come to enjoy lunch, dinner, a weekend brunch or a Sunday roast. If you are just after a drink we have a well selected French wine list and a French themed cocktail list. We also have a large selection of French and local craft beers.

All this served to the rhythm of French 60's Y?y? interior design and music.

We also wanted to let you know about our exiting new menu, that will be changing monthly serving French classics using a modern twist.

Our aim is always to use organic and locally sourced products as much as possible.

And yes, we are kid friendly by day, with our dedicated baby spaces.

So we hope to see you again soon, or if you haven't been to try us yet, we are looking forward to your visit.

As a thank you to you all for your support we will be offering a 50% discount for 2 weeks from Wednesday June 21st till Wednesday July 5th to introduce you to our new menus. The offer will be on food only and not during the week-end. All you need to do to beneficiate from this offer is to print out this page and bring it with you.

We look forward to welcoming you all.

Kind regards

Audrey Michel

    • The eyesore is left, right and elsewhere of said box.😉
    • I don't think you are miserable; the fireworks 'thing' seems to be growing. It used to be that you knew when they would likely happen and they were relatively rare, two or three times a year, for just one evening each time. Now, not only do there seem to be more and more large organised events, with extremely loud fireworks, even making Halloween a must do fireworks date- but people just seem to randomly let off four or five really loud ones at odd times of the night, for around 6 months of the year. Given the environmental impact, I'd have thought the council might want to encourage use of low noise fireworks at large events. I really, really hope something can be done.
    • Would this not be a complaint better aimed at the council? Isn't it an anti social behaviour issue?  I think of myself as pretty live-and-let-live and feel like a miserable cow for saying this, but I do think I might complain. Personally I love the sound of fireworks but our dog is under the table, shaking like a leaf night after night and collapses in the street when he hears the noise.  I'm worried his heart'll give out.
    • The lower / no bang noise fireworks sound great.    Is there anywhere local selling those?
