SOLD: Funky purple chaise longue / sofa bed

We're selling a beautiful, funky purple felt chaise longue / sofa bed which came originally from Heals and cost us ?1195. Since we moved it unfortunately no longer fits in our spare room.

The purple felt has faded somewhat in the light (particularly over the arm) and shows a few signs of wear and tear (including a mark on the arm as shown in the photo), but it is a comfortable sofa and a good periodic sofa bed. The covers (80% wool, 20% nylon) have zips so can be removed if required.

Dimensions are 207 x 100 x 75 cm (when opened, the mattress is 195 x 147 cm)

Price: just ?150

Collection from Upper Sydenham, SE26 (next to Crystal Palace park) or we can deliver locally for ?15.

- Does anyone remember an incident from the late 90s/early 00s in which a young man fell to death from Dawsons Heights?

  Hi, I saw your post and just wanted to say that the incident you’re referring to did happen in the late 1980s at Dawson’s Heights. The person involved was named Carl Salawa, and he had just turned 18 years old at the time. Like you, I haven’t been able to find any news articles or official reports about it, If anyone remembers anything more about that time or incident, I’d really appreciate hearing about it. Thanks for sharing what you were told—it means a lot to know others remember.
