SarahM11
Hi there - I'm looking for recommendations for double glazing. I need to get new windows (wanting UPVC Sash as can't afford wooden) and wondered if anyone has any companies they'd recommend as I'm trying to avoid opening the floodgates to a series of calls from double glazing salesmen! Thanks, Sarah Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/158749-double-glazing-new-windows-needed/ Share on other sites
Marienne
I would recommend Window Clinic, they have a very good heritage range of PVC sash windows with sympathetic detailing, they use timber internal surrounds too and you can have the PVC weld rubbed out to make it look even better. They are very good, give sound advice and prompt pricing but won't hassle you. NehaHolmes
We used a great bespoke timber window commpany who gave us some very competitive prices. We were originally going to go for UPVC but the Oak windows just looked so much better. They were called Oak Sash Windows (www.oaksash.co.uk). Friendly and efficient service too. VicCraven
We have also just had our two bedroom sash windows replaced by Bespoke Windows of Lordship Lane - http://bespokewindows.co.ukThe entire process was very slick and straight forward. (They have been established for a number of decades.)We replaced our wooden sash with their top range UPVC double glazed windows and the quality and design makes it hard to tell the difference from the original wooden windows. They have a number of products to cater for a range of budgets and their after service is also second to none - something important to consider when replacing windows. We were also pleasantly surprised that the price was not as high as we had assumed such a high quality product would be.Thoroughly recommend.Vic :) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/158749-double-glazing-new-windows-needed/#findComment-1156654 Share on other sites
