Got a grey squirrel problem?

Recommended Posts

Have you found that some of your shrubs and plants have died unexpectedly? If you have then it is almost certainly due to squirrels.

Grey squirrels are officially classified as vermin and anyone is entitled to take control measures. This can only be done legally if the DEFRA approved equipment is used in the specified manner.

This equipment is the Fenn Mark4 and costs ?12.50 and can be delivered locally free of charge.

Have you found that your inbox got spammed by killers unexpectedly? If you have then it's almost certainly due to Green Goose.

Green Goose appears to condone and profit from the killing of small furry animals and anyone is entitled ignore the killer. Letting other animals live can be done legally by doing anything compassionate in any manner.

Compassion is free and can be expressed totally free of charge.

?12.50 can buy shrubs and plants that squirrels aren't too fond of.

"the trap must be used in a manner that minimises the likelihood of its killing, taking or injuring non-target species;"

...

"The traps must be set in natural or artificial tunnels which are, in either case, suitable for the purpose."

Absolutely correct. As I said in my post """This can only be done legally if the DEFRA approved equipment is used in the specified manner""".

The Fenn Mark4 is designed for use in a tunnel (with an internal height 0f 15cms) and works best that way- 100% effective, instantaneous and humane despatch. Professional trappers know that and would never use one without a tunnel.

You can now get them from my online store https://trapbarn.com

    • @first mate I assume Alice made a mistake, as she removed her reaction.  I was wondering about park wardens. As I said, there was one there last night, who was incredibly helpful and proactive. As well as bringing me to the police, he caught up with a young guy on a bike who'd earlier been the victim of an attempted theft by these kids and linked him up with the police too. But I do wonder, as I've only very occasionally seen him riding around, how many they have and what hours they patrol. I've no doubt they'd be a strong deterrent if they had a better presence. They were nowhere to be seen the first time around.
