Wanted: nanny/childminder

Recommended Posts

Hi

We're looking for a nanny/childminder from mid Sept for one of the following two scenarios. Please reply via PM if either of these would work below:

1) Nanny share: Full time nanny for 35-40 hours per week spread over 4 days - shared between 2 families. Hours 8-6ish, preferably Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri. Would involve for first family (a) school and nursery drop offs, and pick-ups, and 1 full day with our 3 year old; and with family (b) full time care 3 days a week with an 18 month old, from 9am to 3pm.

2) Our family only: Part time nanny, pick ups from 3pm on Mon, Thurs, Friday; and full day child care with 3 year old on Tuesday. Ideally would involve drop offs at least 1 or 2 days a week as well. Total hours ~20/wk.

Our children are 3 and 5; with the share you would also care for the 18 month old.

Must be able to start mid/late Sept. Pay around ?10-11.50 hour depending on experience.

Please PM me if interested in the 35-40 or 20 hour contract option! We're based in Peckham, near Bellenden Road.

In the meantime, thank you to our local teachers and other school workers, police community support officers and police officers. My commute happens to take me past a bunch of schools at dropoff/pickup times, and I noticed a much greater and more visible presence on streets outside/near schools than normal. Annoying as it must have been to be distracted from other important duties, I really value and appreciate them looking out for the kids. https://uk.news.yahoo.com/school-wars-trend-red-blue-london-police-latest-142328025.html https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026/jan/01/birmingham-new-year-fireworks-display-centenary-square-police
