This is a Mothercare Darlington toddler cot bed, used for a year, in very good condition.

I'll throw in the unsoiled mattress and washable mattress cover. It was very good quality and obviously very comfortable as our daughter slept better in it from the first night than she had in her cot.

I also have 2 sets of gro-to-bed sheets which are really clever and stop them falling out. A small pillow fits in the pouch at the top and the duvet zips in and the whole top part attaches to the bottom sheet. They make the transition from cot in to bed absolutely easy. I have a pink one and a blue one, one has a tear where it tucks underneath the mattress. The whole lot would make a good package for the move in to a new bed.

The bed cost about ?100, the mattress was ?180 but I understand that is not always wanted so that can be free, the sheets were about ?35 a set. The duvet was ?20 and the pillow is free! I'd take ?50 for the lot. Available for 1 week as we are moving.

    • People working in shops should not be "attempting to do the bill in their head." Nor if questioned should they be  trying to "get to an agreeable number." They should be actually (not trying to) getting to the correct number. I'm afraid in many cases it is clearly more than incorrect arithmetic. One New Year's Eve in a restaurant (not in East Dulwich but quite near it) two of us were charged for thirty poppadoms. We were quite merry when the bill came, but not so merry as to not notice something amiss. Unfortunately we have had similar things happen in a well established East Dulwich restaurant we no longer use. There is also a shop in East Dulwich which is open late at night. It used not to display prices on its goods (that may have changed). On querying the bill, we several times found a mistake had been made. Once we were charged twice for the same goods. There is a limit to how many times you can accept a "mistake".  There is also a limit to how many times you can accept the "friendly" sweet talking after it.
