Sadly it is time to sell our beloved Volvo V70 (automatic).

It is a 2002 Volvo V70 2.4 SE. It has done 184,000 and starts first time every time. The engine still runs like a dream. There is no skipping of gears.

The log book is present and has one key and one remote fob.

The car is extremely high spec for its year with, alloys, full leather seats and trim, cruise control, 6cd, etc

The car is well used, it has a few dents and scuffs (a sizeable one in the rear door). The lock mechanism in the drivers rear passenger door has to be locked manually.

The car has just had a full services (will provide report upon request).

It needs:

- front tires replacing

- advisory's on the front shock absorbers need investigating

- had brand new rear brakes fitted last year however now rear brakes are now squeaking

- airbag warning sign has come on, needs further investigation.

MOT due in October 2017.

    • Called Tessa Jowell GP Surgery today after failing to get two repeat prescriptions from the pharmacy.  When I asked the pharmacy, I was told that they had been requested but not sent by the surgery.  After speaking to the surgery I was told that those two items were no longer on my repeat prescriptions.  I was told I would need a prescription review. Earliest date would be the 22 September.  That is utterly ridiculous.  Surely someone from the surgery should have contacted me to tell me this after requesting the repeat prescriptions two weeks ago.    Also, apparently, there is no point sending an email regarding prescriptions as they are not actioned nor replied to as I have discovered.
    • Erm... guessing it's like any service... so you can receive/be part of something relevant to you in the area where you happen to reside. You don't have to sign up but you might miss out on an excellent Tesco offer or two. 🤷‍♀️
    • https://www.stanthonysprimary.co.uk/parents/admissions/admissions-1 Both my children went to St Anthony's and I feel it is a wonderful school... very inclusive of all faiths (they learn about all religions even though it's a Catholic school) and nurturing with great pastoral care and teaching. it's a real community of families and school staff and I was very sad when my youngest left for secondary this year.
    • happy to buy, but would rather not buy a new one as only need it for a very short time (Hallowe'en). Please let me know if you have one in your cupboard that you don't use.
