There are several free picture resizing sites online, but I've found this one really quick and easy:

http://www.picresize.com/

You just upload the original pic, put in the setting to make it no more than 614kb (the limit on here) and then download it again.

It automatically renames it with rsz at the front, so the original pic stays the same if you want to use it for something else.

I can't believe I used to mess around for ages with Photoshop .....

There's an even easier way if you use a Mac: double click picture in Finder and it will open in preview. Click "File>duplicate" and a copy will appear, then ask to save that copy: at the bottom of the "save" popup there's a "quality" slider which can be dragged up and down to whatever kb/mb size desired.

    • Hi there,  I am looking for someone to fix a TABLE LAMP. I guess an electrician, but are there any electrical shops in the area, like there use to be?  Or any other suggestions please?  Cheers Thomas
    • Hands up if you remember the days Iof white dog poo, caused by diet i believe.  At least you could spot them glowing on a dark night 😅
    • I sent an email a few days ago to the counsellor who has responsibility for leisure in Southwark, Portia Mwangangye. I also copied the generic leisure email address and received a reply from Phillipa Gillespie, General Manager of Dulwich Leisure Centre. She apologised for the lack of updates and explained that the there had been an unforeseen and catastrophic failure of the filtration system. The replacement system has been ordered and they are awaiting delivery and installation, but she could give no timeframe for this. All very disappointing.
    • Smiley_blue_1234, perhaps the photo was of a business collection and not of one made by Veolia or on behalf of Southwark. And perhaps Buzzard's neighbours are omnivores.
