The United nations should set upsuch an organisation,what with the all the catastrophes that have been happening.

Two islands in the north and southern hemispheres should be aquired, and on these islands should be teams of experts and equipment ready to go anywhere there is a disaster that needs help.

There could be donations made by the public worldwide towards its upkeep

It may have started in fiction,but it was a brilliant concept.
