An opportunity is available to join a busy and successful London based building and decorating company. Jobs range from private homes to commercial premises, throughout Central and South-east/west London. As a Painter & Decorator you main responsibilities will include:

Interior/Exterior painting and decorating, building, working on commercial and domestic premises.


You will need to be self-motivated, with demonstrable experience within the painting and decorating industry. In addition, you must possess the following key skills and experience: good communication skills, customer focused, strong organisational and time-management skills, great team player with the capability of working on your own, ability to provide exceptionally high standards of work, ability to manage your own workload, hard-working and committed, excellent attention to detail and pride in your work, CSCS Card preferable, driving licence preferable, references preferable.


Day Rate ?110 to ?120

    • If you haven't already watched this totally shocking docudrama on Channel 4 then make sure you watch it and tell everyone you know to watch It It lays bare the scandalous, harmful and lethal  (in some cases) behaviour of the water companies since privatisation.  I for one didn't realise that the water companies pay the regulator/environment agency to regulate them in one mega conflict of interest.   This is as shocking as the post office/postmasters scandal with even more far reaching consequences.
    • We have been going to Franklins for many years. On the whole we have found both the food and service extremely good,  and good value for money, but there have been one or two low points, including unfortunately a very expensive but disappointing  meal with friends which I was paying for. I think it may depend on who is in the kitchen. We had a really excellent meal from their Christmas menu before Christmas this year, which for the quality of the food and cooking we didn't feel was expensive at all. I think it would be a real shame if it was turned into a pub. It isn't that kind of place. That's why we like it.
