Katie Arnold - Make Up Artist.

Got a wedding coming up? A special occasion? Or just fancy being made up?

Getting married is one if the most important days of your life and I will be there to make you feel and look your absolute best.

I trained at The London College Of Fashion for two years and left with a National Diploma in Specialist Make Up. I then went onto work for Benefit Cosmetics in Selfridges, London and then onto manage a skincare department in an independant department store. This enabled me to expand my knowledge of skincare and combine it with the my make up skills. The knowledge I have gained over my eight years experience within the industry is something I always share with those of us who are nervous and overwhelmed about the big wide world of cosmetics and skincare.

I now specialise in wedding make up but that is not all...I also do special occasions, school proms and corporate events. On top of this I offer a lesson service at your home.

My wedding service covers all members of the wedding party from flower girl to mother of the bride. I offer a friendly, fun and honest service that people recommend again and again.

I can give you lessons in application, advise on colours or just help to you feel a bit more special.

    • Thanks penguin  always wondered about that place and that’s way more info than I ever thought I would get  (used to live above a gun nut on friern road - he would tell me nothing)
    • There was a Saturday afternoon crowd of enthusiasts, and at other times the owner might have been off acquiring stock. He also repaired air guns, which he also sold. He stocked edged weapons, uniforms, including antique uniforms, air guns and ammo and starting pistols and shot. Some medals and other militaria. Quite a lot of ex service chit chat on a Saturday. I had an amateur interest, didn't deal a lot, in English pattern swords and other mainly 19th century militaria. And made some good purchases there. I'm afraid WWII and later events was the major focus of most of the regulars.
    • Did anyone actually venture in to that place? I recall it always being closed/very uninviting!
    • Perry Bamonte from The Cure.. Just 65 years old.
