local babysitter/childminder/SEN specialised for summer into early october

Recommended Posts

Hello my name is Zainab Shah, a 21 year old student who is currently on summer break. I have been babysitting since the age of 14 for various people. I at the age of 16 held a long running pickup from school service for two children. Since then during my year out of university I worked as a childminder to two lovely children.

Alongside this I have experience working with children with special needs having worked as a teaching assistant at the local primary school (Dulwich Village) to a child with autism. My own sister also has learning difficulties so I pride myself on being patient and caring when it comes to accommodating and understanding a child?s needs.

I have lived in East Dulwich my whole life and attended the local state school. Attaining all a-a* grades in GCSE?s and A-Levels if any tutoring or homework help is needed.

I would describe myself as a warm and friendly person who is creative in finding fun activities for the kids to be happy with.

    • Thanks Sue.  No the car just drove on.  We don't know if they noticed.  We were driving behind.  We were just glad we could be with the cat, and take him to the vet, rather than leaving him there 😞
    • Certainly the infamous (and mythical) SE London cat killer turned out to be foxes attacking dying and dead cats injured by cars, but fox: cat encounters do appear to happen, even where cats are victorious. Fox: adult humans less so. At least where foxes are the aggressors.
    • That was very kind of you to take the cat to the vet. Did the car not stop?
    • This is a bit outside our area, but I'm posting in case .... Last night (Sat.20 Dec), around 10.30, we saw a cat hit by a car in St Norbert Road, SE4.  We took him to the out of hours vet in Beckenham, where they confirmed that he had died.  They will see if he is microchipped, and contact the owner if so.  They were very kind.   He was a lovely cat, grey and white.  He must have died very quickly.  So sorry to be the bearer of bad news 😞 The vet is Medivet in Beckenham, tel: 0208 650 2003.
