Wanted: After school and holiday nanny 3 days per week in Herne Hill

Recommended Posts

Hi, we are looking for a fun energetic nanny to look after our two children (aged 2 and 4) for 15 - 30 hours a week 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday).

Term time hours (some flexibility):

Mornings: 7:45 - 9:15am

Afternoons: 3:00 - 6:30pm

Holiday hours:

All day: 8am ? 6:30pm

Can be flexible on start/finish times for the right person. Would suit teaching assistant or mum living locally with grown up children. Hourly rate depending on experience. We live in Herne Hill/North Dulwich but school is 30 minute walk so driver preferred.

We would like someone to start at the beginning of September.

Duties to include: entertaining children with activities, trips to the park, ad hoc playdates and preparing a light meal.

Please PM me for more details. I look forward to hearing from you.

    • I haven't had a rude EVRI delivery but last week I had an unexpected delivery at 10.42 pm. He didn't ring the bell or knock on the door (or rattle the letter flap) but just took a photo and put the box down.  If it hadnt been for the door camera giving us a beep we would never have known there was a parcel ready to sit there all night.
    • Sorry if I’m being slow but there’s no point in having a gate then is there?  Would have thought it was basic manners to respect someone’s property

    • I have a rescue Spanish greyhound (galgo) from the charity mentioned above. You can contact Greyhounds in Need or one of the more local Kent greyhound rescue charities. They are fantastic family dogs. They do love walkies 2 or 3 times a day but they actually don't need to be walked too far and then they will happily loaf around on the sofa being very chill. They are brilliant with kids but not recommended if you own a cat as they have a strong prey drive. They also should be kept on the lead in local parks. They prefer to be around other sight-hounds (well my one does) and there are loads of local sighthound owners in Peckham, Crystal Palace etc and a very lively WhatsApp group that is brilliant if you need dog sitting as you can usually find someone to do that for free in return for you looking after the dog at a later date etc.
