Hello

I've been trying lots of different slings as I need to upgrade Baby K's sling to something more comfortable for me to carry which he's also happy in. I saw a lady with the Babybjorn Comfort the other day who kindly told me the model, etc but given the pricetag I would ideally like to try it out before I buy. Does anyone by any chance have one that I could pop round to try on one day this week?

If not, does anyone know somewhere nearby that stocks them where I could try it?

Thanks

I think ours is a comfort- is that the one with the diamond shaped back support panel thing? The front of it is drool stained (thanks seb...) but you're welcome to try it. However I alsways found our rose and rebellion and babyhawk carriers SO much more comfortable than the baby bjorn, baby's weight was better distributed so it was kinder on my back. Just a thought...
Hi Ruth. I thinkyours might be the active or synergie which is the one I've already got. I need a sling that Baby K can face outwards in an ideally one that I can also wear on my back as he gets bigger. I've tried the new Beco Gemini which was great for me but the shape doesn't suit Baby K - he's small so his arms and legs can't move freely. I'll have a look at the ones you mention online. The Babybjorn Comfort is more like the ergo / Beco slings in that the weight is distributed better via a wide band that sits on the hips so I figured it would be more comfortable than my current one...

    • I don't know how it works now but my late parents had little money when they were retired (just state pension and they rented their flat) and they used to take their cat to the Blue Cross (In Victoria if I remember correctly) where treatment was free for those who could'nt afford a private vet. I sincerely hope similar is available still because for many elderly their pet is their main source of comfort and company.

If you just say , “no, I think it’s x” they start again and get to an agreeable number, or find a calculator. I don’t think it’s a malicious attempt to swindle people. Just not great arithmetic.
    • There are excellent charities like the Greenwich Wildlife Network who will help if you report any concerns with local wildlife. Foxes are wonderful creatures who had been forced into our town and cities and are just doing their best to survive, we should take care of them when we can.
    • Like I thought… prob like that for most of the day.. especially after people had walked their dogs, with friends, relatives  kids…
