Our part time nanny, 44yo (dual Polish Italian nationality) is looking for a nice quiet studio or a double room in Camberwell, East Dulwich, West Dulwich, West Norwood, Streatham, Tulse Hill and other neighboring areas. She's been with us for two years and we can fully vouch for her. She is responsible, tidy, respectful and caring. Her budget is ?500-700 depending on the place.


She would consider being a live in companion for an elderly person in need of help such as shopping and generally keeping company (she used to care for her elderly relatives in Italy) in exchange for peppercorn rent (eg ?150).


She would like to move from her current place in September but can be flexible.

Hello Seagal,


I have a 4 bed house in ED. Room + ensuite bathroom available. To share with 2 females (cousins) of similar age (lawyer and consultant). House is comfortable well furnished and conveniently located near Goose Green. Available in 1 week.

?650 pcm incl.Viewings at weekend.

      The current crimes from what I hear are phone theft from the person, car theft and tradesman vehicle/tools theft. Plus of course the overall increase in stabbings and shootings across London which are becoming normalised.

      Whilst clearly 'a crime', I don't think this necessarily sits with the other things you have described. A tragic and awful incident certainly, and dreadfully traumatic to the victim, but not part of any 'crime wave' as such, I suspect. It's the sort of thing which, sadly, can happen anywhere (I, again, suspect).

      Does anybody have a folding pasting table they no longer need? All the ones I've found online seem to have terrible reviews, mainly due to being unstable,  or else coming apart! I don't mind if it's grubby, I just want it to gesso wallpaper lining paper, for art not walls!

      Massive thank you to Stephen. Painted our whole house - and got lots of other bits sorted, too. Nothing was too much trouble, everything looks great and all came in on quote. Fantastic. Liverpool fan, but don’t hold that against him. Will 100% use again.
