My daughter has been attending MFN since mid January and has settled in very well. The nursery carers are all very

Friendly and attentive and seem to have a lot of enthusiasm with regards to the children and there development.

The setting of the nursery is also very nice, with big open rooms, lots of light and all new toys. My only concern at the moment is that there are not enough children of her age to interact or stimulate her (22 months) There are a lot of babies there 9months+.

How old are your children?

My son is also at MFN (18.5 months) and we've had a very positive experience. I agree with tlw, we also wish there were a few more kids around this age for stimulation etc (tlw - our children must know each other pretty well!). They told us more will be starting as Spring approaches so we look forward to that. Being so new, the rooms weren't very full when we went for the viewing back in January and I wasn't sure about this at first, but as time goes on a lovely atmosphere is developing.

The staff have been wonderful. They are very nuturing, and all of them know each children's quirks/likes/needs. When we couldn't start the week we were meant to due to illness, the nursery called each day just to see how he was. They seem very keen to take on board parent's thoughts and concerns too. At one point I casually mentioned that I didn't think the children were taken outside very much. The very next day (and frequently since) they were taken out and had a wonderful afternoon on the slides, etc. I was also assured that this was just due to so many new children arriving and having their settling in periods - which I now completely understand.

    • I wanted to just add that my experience has shown me that fitness classes aimed at an older demographic are often nowhere near as good or as much fun as those aiming at all and sundry.. most classes I've been to NOT aiming at 'Middle aged' people have had such a mixed bag and everyone does what they can at their own pace and this is encouraged. Do give it a go.
    • Greens have some mad polices and I am still trying to work out if it is true that the leader of the party thought he could hypnotize women to have larger breasts 🤷‍♂️ country is in a real state at the min and all party’s have a part to play in that. what the future holds who knows but it is worrying.
    • A stellar win for the Greens in Gorton and Denton, no doubt. But by-elections are funny beasts. Labour's strength traditionally has been in its ground game. Legions of canvassers over many years in many seats usually means that they are best placed to 'get out the vote' on election day. I can't quite believe that the Greens have enough data, or people, to wrest control of the council from Labour.
