Uploading pictures

I'm probably being a bit slow here but someone has sent me a photograph by email and I need to upload it to an online site. How can I do this? I've done some others but they are on my iPad and that was straightforward.

It depends on the site you want to upload to, but (assuming you are on Windows) the best way is to save the photo to your desktop or documents folder and then use the site's upload function, which usually has a 'Browse' button that allows you to select the photo.
