This is one of those Healthy Ride Plus events which starts at 9.30am and finishes at 1pm. it starts at Canada Water library (just opposite the station SE16 7AR) Overground trains from Peckham Rye go to Canada Water Station which has biggish lifts. Peckham Rye Station has biggish stairs.

This ?+? ride will take you through ?Entertainment? London (Covent Garden, Soho), ?Learned? London (Univ of London Senate House, British Museum) and ?Legal? London (Lincolns Inn, Inner Temple). The route has been crafted and will be led by Werner and since not even Werner can find hills in central London and it will be flat.

The outward leg is via Southwark Park, Quietway 1 and Waterloo Bridge. There will be a coffee/loo stop at Chester Road, Regents Park (sorry to be indelicate) then back through Bloomsbury, past Lincolns Inn fields and over London Bridge. That's 24km (14.5 miles) of flat riding avoiding the worst junctions, so suitable for pretty much any cyclist with some kind of bicycle!

Bruce is organising and you can phone him here: 07729 279 945

    • "Firing"? "Demanding"? A "habit on here of 'demanding' answers"?  Crikey. I didn't say you "should" do anything! This is a forum.  For discussion. I will say whatever I like and ask whatever I like,  within the forum rules, as can anybody else  Please move your issues with me to the thread I have started in the lounge on feeling safe in London, because this is a thread about a burglary in Lacon Road. If you continue to post your complaints about me on this thread, I shall not respond, so do feel free. Or if you think I have broken any forum rules, do feel free to report me to admin.
    • It is what it is - like I said previously, don’t make a habit of going out at night be it London or Devon.
    • If anyone's getting rid of one it would be most appreciated, can contribute
