Interior designer - projects needed for portfolio

Hello all

I am looking to set up on my own as an interior designer after eight years in the biz. My completed projects are so confidential that I have very little for a website/portfolio! I'm therefore looking for local projects that I can assist designing, in return for photographs/testimonials. No charge!

As I'll be juggling this around an existing interior design job (with a highly reputed company!) ideally projects would be manageable size-wise - single rooms/childrens rooms/refreshes/layout dilemmas etc.

I am fully versed in 2D/3D as well as sourcing, spatial planning and specifying.

If you'd be interested please PM me...

Thank you!

Hi Arialle,

I just saw your post and would love your help! It's a small project- just need help laying out our double living room as it has turned into a nondescript play room. We live in a Victorian house in honor oak park. Let me know if this would help you my number is07753?419914 thanks so much

    • Anyone can deliver for Evri - my daughter having just passed her driving test tried Evri to make some money - they basically give you a route and as many parcels as they think you can cope with - you make money for each one you deliver, so you can imagine - speed is the priority. Why would they wait for you to answer the door when they can just throw it and take a photo? If you have a choice, choose a different courier service or shop elsewhere where they do.
    • Boil - it’s the customer’s fault, not the delivery person’s.
    • A bit of a long shot but I'm on the lookout for a portable pop-up counter or podium.   The kind you often see on a high street, used by charities or utility companies to advertise their wares.   I've included a photo to give you the idea. I'm a peckham-based artist and am looking for one for a free (and non-profit) community art project.  It can be in any workable condition and can already have signage on it as we will remove and redecorate ourselves.    Thanks in advance, Linzie
    • No I absolutely did not - that much is clear. Have you read the latest stories about Unite, Len and the hotel in Birmingham? The UK electorate were smart enough to reject a far-left party in 2019, let's hope they are smart enough to reject a far-right party at the next election too. If not we are all doomed.
