Looking for builder to expose fireplace

Just bought a flat in East Dulwich and my girlfriend and I are looking to open up the fireplace in the living room. It's plastered over, but from tapping the wall it appears to have been bricked in.

We're not looking to use the fireplace for a fire ? we're just looking to have it exposed. I attach a few pictures of what sort of result we're hoping for (without woodburner of course).

Has anybody had anything similar done? Or if not, do you know a reliable builder who might be able to help with this?
