reren
We are starting to think about how to manage childcare when i go back to work. I will be working 4 days a week and my husband works freelance/irregular hours largely from home - what we'd ideally like is to be able to drop our son off for a morning or afternoon as and when we need to and then perhaps have an au pair to watch him while my husband works. Does anyone do something similar? Are there childminders who are flexible or do you always have to sign up for a set number of days/ hours? He will be one when we start needing childcare and ideally i would prefer he wasnt with a childminder all day and that we can take advantage of time when his dad is home and able to take care of him? dianaa
Hi,Reren.Unfortunately, I do not know any childminder where you can drop and pick up your child any time and any days, but regarding your childcare whilst dad is working, I feel I could be in assistance for you.I am a mature (42), responsible, highly flexible, reliable, punctual, playful, creative nanny who has 11 years childcare experience.I have been looking after 2 boys aged 2 and 4 in Camberwell at the moment.I have started working for this family last October and I am just covering the family's permanent nanny maternity leave, who is returning to the work at the end of April.I am a sole charge nanny with own child, which means I bring my child to the work.My daughte is 8 months old now and we are managing easly and having a lots of fun.We are doing lots of indoors and outdoors activities and I am using a double buggy.I sometimes can carry my daughter in a carrier and pushing the other child in a buggy.I start at 1 pm and finish usually at 5.30 till max. 7.30 pm.I am very flexible about working hours and days, althougt I deffinitely need minimum 16 hours a week.I have absolutely no problem with a short notice for working hours and days.I also was babysitting at the weekend during the day for about 5 hours. If you think, that your baby would like a little friend, please do not hesitate and call me on 07719956546 or PM me. My name is Jana and my baby-daughter (my colleague)'s name is Sophia June.Thank you and have a nice evening.
