There was a piece in the Metro about supermarkets finding that people had re-arranged the herbs on the shelves to spell out rude words.

I went into the Co-op on Forest Hill Road tonight and someone had mucked about with the jars and had spelled BOOBS.

Gutted that someone else got to do it first. :)

It's a bit childish, but it's not hurting anyone and cheered me up. Anyone else see this?

Up at a hotel in huddersfield years ago on a wedding party I agreed with my cousin to 're-spell' the name of the hotel in the huge white-painted boulders that spelled out the hotel name 'Hilton' on a muddy bank in front of the hotel on a busy roundabout. My cousin was so drunk I left him by the dancefloor at 3am and went out front, wrapped plastic bags around my feet and renamed the place 'Hotel HELL'. Couldn't stop grinning as I walked back past the reception desk (having unclad my still shiny shoes, as my alibi).

Next morning my little party piece went down a treat with the rellies as i dragged them before breakfast across to the other side of the roundabout junction for a private 'viewing', certainly helped the breakfast joviality.

Admittedly, it wasn't jam jars, but same sentiment, right ?

    • Yes, we have a Casio CT-S100 we no longer need, except I dont think we have the headphones any more. It has a USB connection. £50? https://www.argos.co.uk/product/7333639
    • Thank you! She is both spayed and microchipped, and reported missing on Petlog and with the vets.   She normally never goes out the front, certainly for never more than 10-15 minutes, so this is definitely new territory for her. There is lots of dense foliage across the road so there are plenty of places she could be hiding if she is spooked, so we are hoping she will come back when she is calm. The weather isn't helping, she never goes out in the rain. Thank you again!
    • Hi, Have you been letting her out the front door onto the street or would this be a first & therefore unfamiliar with the area? Does she respond to a name & is she spayed & microchipped? Our team carry scanners on our daily routes & will of course be looking our for her. I hope you are reunited with her soon. If not already, notify your street & surrounding streets (find out if they have Whatsapp groups) Dox will print & deliver free missing posters https://www.doxdirect.com/help/free-missing-pet-posters/ Call her at dusk & dawn when street & foot traffic is at its lowest.
