Open Weekend at the Brockwell Lido This Weekend! (Ap 2 & 3)

Recommended Posts

As this is the Lounge and the weather this weekend is supposed to be nice, I figured I should get back on here and tell you that the Brockwell Lido is kicking off its swim season a month earlier than usual this weekend and to mark the occasion is also offering free swimming all weekend, from 9-4pm. If you're interested in getting your mug and slimline body (har!) in somebody's book, there'll be a photographer taking snaps of folks plunging into the undoubtedly "cool" waters at 10am. Also free of charge will be taster classes in the Lido studios. There are 4 we know of so far, and they are scheduled for Saturday:

PT Cycle from 10-11am

Hatha Yoga from 2:30-3:30pm

Tai Chi from 3-4 pm

Bridal Circuit from 3-4pm

More are planned for Sunday.

You can do the gym and spa for free as well within the aforementioned hours. So we've been told by Fusion.

Perhaps best to ring the Lido to confirm times and places, also to find out about Sun. if we haven't manage to post further here: 0207 274 3088. Or check out the Gym & Spa Users Forum on Facebook. Hopefully Fusion will get on there and post something once they know - we've asked them to.

Reminder of the FB pathway:

    • I’d like to recommend local plumber - James at Trelco Plumbing. I’ve used them twice now, for a kitchen tap replacement and a boiler repair. Both times they were able to attend at short notice, arrived on time and we are very happy with the work they have done. James is polite, responsive and easy to deal with. • Deptford Green and Elm Green anecdotally have a more realistic and compassionate to kids differing needs. Whether that is still the case i'm not sure. Having 3 boys at Charter i would seriously consider a boys school if you have them, Charter East really aren't geared up for the different educational needs of some boys and the challenging behaviour this frustration leads to. I have heard amazing things about St Thomas the Apostle boys school.
    • Thanks everyone for the great recommendations! I wouldn't normally go for vegan restaurants, but I've been to En Root and really liked it. Fresh and tasty.  The Ritzy Cinema in Brixton also sell their food, to eat in their cafe before or after a film (I don't think they sell the whole menu that you'd find in Peckham, but there is a good choice)
