STILL LOADS AVAILABLE - FREE (or for chocolate if you wish!) - MYSTERY (possibly Tulip) BULBS

Hi all - me and a mate have just re-planted a large honeysuckle into a new big pot. The old pot contained what we discovered were loads and loads of bulbs. They had grown out leaves but never flowered because (a) I suspect there wasn't room for them along with the honeysuckle itself and (b) the bulbs were not at the correct depth and, maybe, © there were just too many of them.

I have split the bulbs, some were in bunches of up to 8 of different sizes! I can only assume they are tulips because I seem to remember many years ago I planted tulip bulbs somewhere and I am not sure if they were in that particular pot with the honeysuckle. Yet they may not all be tulips. So there we are. If you fancy coming along and grabbing a handful of bulbs to plant feel free to reply and I can PM you my address. I can leave them outside the front door in case I am not in, and you can take some. The pot in the photo is about 7 inches high by the way. I shall leave them in that pot so you know what to look out for.

Sorry for length of post!

Hi Sue. They vary in size on the same clump but yet if they look like crocus some may be. However, for a crocus the leaves came over a foot long. So maybe some are and others are tulips? Want some?

    • WoW Sue, all guns blazing.
    • So you don't feel safe in London, but you don't want to live elsewhere? What do you do, barricade yourself in your home and never venture out? I have my eyes (sic)  open. Yes there is crime in London. That doesn't make London "lawless".
    • Well good for you, I don't feel safe. And saying why don't I go and live somewhere else is crass.  Yes London is lawless, open your eys and see the reality.
    • Also, as discussed on another thread, that particular  assailant was possibly (we don't know)  mentally ill. Whereas I'm guessing most crimes locally are   committed for money, (ie things that can be sold, or in hopes of insurance money), food (if someone is really desperate, or to sell) or just pure mischief (like the recent goings on on Peckham Rye). I'm a 76 year old woman, and I feel safe on the streets, and I frequently go to Central London. If you seriously don't feel safe living here, why on earth don't you go and live somewhere else?! It's absolute nonsense to say London is lawless, and it's absolute nonsense to say the police stand by and do nothing. There will always be crime. It used to be cutpurses and highwaymen. And organised gangs of thieves. And people like Jack the Ripper.
