Painter decorator recommendation

Hello - I want to recommend Dave Franklin (who I found through the forum) and his team for anyone looking to have some paintwork done. They work quickly, finish the job to a high standard and are nice guys to have around the house, which made a difference to me as I am on maternity leave. Thanks Dave and team.

Just used Dave Franklin to completely repaint our house in Camberwell after the tenants had moved out. We're selling and gave Dave's team one week to paint the kitchen, strip and varnish the worktops, paint 2 bathrooms, 4 bedrooms - walls and woodwork. His team did an quality job and finished on time. Given the timescale, we were very happy with the work, responsiveness of Dave and helpfulness of his team. Dave's number is 07956688622

I too would recommend Dave and his team. We had the front of our house painted (Victorian terrace in Peckham rye)as well as the lounge and Dave quoted competitive prices and made sure we were happy with the final works. When we spotted a few minor bits that needed touching up he sent his team back with no hesitation. He was good on communication too, coming back on messages and calls v quickly and making sure we were happy with the colour matching (we went with farrow and ball colours but got them colour matched for Johnstone's trade paint in the end as told the wear is better. Happy with the final look and personally wouldn't be able to tell if it was f&b or not).

    • You literally just edited your earlier reply to remove the point you made about it being “politicians”.  Then you call me pathetic.    I’m  not trying to say you approve any of the ugly right wing nonsense.  But I AM Saying your earlier post suggesting  violent rhetoric being “left wing” was one-sided and incorrect
    • I never said that. Saying I don’t like some of the rhetoric coming from the left doesn’t mean I approve of Farage et al saying that Afghans being brought here to protect their lives and thank them for their service means there is an incalculable threat to women.    Anything to score a cheap point. It’s pretty pathetic.
    • To be fair we are as hosed as the majority of other countries post-Covid. The problem is Labour promised way too much and leant in on the we need change and we will deliver it and it was clear to anyone with a modicum of sense that no change was going to happen quickly and actually taking the reigns may have been a massive poison- chalice. As Labour are finding to their cost - there are no easy answers.  A wealth tax seems straightforward but look how Labour have U-turned on elements of non-dom - why? Because the super rich started leaving the country in their droves and whilst we all may want them to pay more tax they already pay a big chunk already and the government saw there was a problem.
    • You don’t think there are right-wing politicians fanning this with rhetoric? Really?
