Recommendation for nanny

Our lovely nanny is leaving us shortly after 4 years with us (our children are starting school and nursery) and we'd love to help her find a new family. Our children love her and she's been really great with them. She takes them to loads of activities, does all sorts of arts/crafts/baking, organises lots of playdates and she loves to cook for them. She's been a nanny for over 20 years and really knows her stuff - weaning, potty training, etc etc. She lives locally and has been really reliable and dependable. Ideally she is looking for a full time role (or as close to that as possible). Please do get in touch if you're looking for a nanny.

Hello there, we are looking for a nanny from mid November and would be really interested in meeting your nanny. Our son is currently six months old and would need to be looked after for four days a week. We live near Camberwell Green so if this sounds interesting pls ask her to get in touch with me by email: [email protected]. Many thanks Rory

    • Steve used to joke that my old VW Golf kept them in business. I've got a more reliable car now so maybe that's why they are closing. Sad day.
    • Is Dell Autos closing down completely or just moving? For whatever it's worth, for MOTs I've had good recent experience with The Test Centre in Deptford. They only do MOTs so they don't have any particular incentive to fail you and they usually have same day appointments. Open 7 days a week and late. https://www.thetestcentre.co.uk/our-test-centres/deptford-branch/ Obviously you would still need a "normal" garage to do servicing and repairs etc.
    • So what is the issue? You want compensation for the loss of value, or you want to expedite the matter?
    • No. What happened? I actually thought, considering it was what we used to call Guy Fawkes Day last night, the loud noises from  fireworks ended remarkably early. About 9pm? Maybe I just fell asleep and didn't hear any later ones. Do people actually burn Guys any more? Apart from at places like Lewes, where I believe they still have Bonfire Societies and burn effigies of various political figures etc.
