SEEKING FAMILY TO JOIN EXISTING NANNY SHARE (October onwards) (Nunhead/Brockley/Telegraph Hill)

We are seeking a new family to join our current nanny share. Our fabulous nanny has been looking after our two children as part of a nanny share for the last 4 years. Our current share family is moving on and we are looking for a new family to join us.

Our nanny is a very warm, calm and friendly nanny who adores children. She is especially good with babies and toddlers, although she has 18 years' experience with children of all ages. We thoroughly recommend her. She is Ofsted registered, has a CRB check and first aid certificate.

We are a family on Ivydale Road (Nunhead) with a 7 year old girl and 5 year old boy (at Hatcham Temple Grove Free School on Telegraph Hill). The share would be a mixture of sole charge when our children are at school and shared care before and after school, plus during the holidays. The share would ideally suit a family with a baby or young toddler (plus possibly an older child) that would like the baby/toddler to have some one to one time with a nanny plus some more social time with older children. We are very flexible about how the share would work.

If you would like to find out more, please send me a message.

Thanks

Jo

Hi Jo,

We are looking for a Nanny share to join, from November. We live on Ivydale too - opposite Ivydale school. We are looking for 3 days a week (Monday-Wednesday), to look after my 1 year old and also collect my 3 year old from Nursery at about 5.30pm. Not sure if this would work with your kids pick ups? I am usually home at 6.30pm. Look forward to hearing from you if you think we might be able to make it work. Lucinda.

    • The current crimes from what I hear are phone theft from the person, car theft and tradesman vehicle/tools theft. Plus of course the overall increase in stabbings and shootings across London which are becoming normalised.
    • Whilst clearly 'a crime', I don't think this necessarily sits with the other things you have described. A tragic and awful incident certainly, and dreadfully traumatic to the victim, but not part of any 'crime wave' as such, I suspect. It's the sort of thing which, sadly, can happen anywhere (I, again, suspect).
    • Does anybody have a folding pasting table they no longer need? All the ones I've found online seem to have terrible reviews, mainly due to being unstable,  or else coming apart! I don't mind if it's grubby, I just want it to gesso wallpaper lining paper, for art not walls!
    • Massive thank you to Stephen. Painted our whole house - and got lots of other bits sorted, too. Nothing was too much trouble, everything looks great and all came in on quote. Fantastic. Liverpool fan, but don’t hold that against him. Will 100% use again.
